Party Weekend
Published in Paperback by Simon Pulse (June, 1996)
Average review score:

Bad bookThis book was the worst Iread. What about Ned?? He is so perfect.
Best bookI think this is a great book except that Nancy and Ned aren't together. This isn't mostly about parties or anything. Nancy is trying to stop Charley Stern from ruining the weekend, and she's got to find the person who's stolen something. Amazon is a great company. I can't find this book anywhere else!!

Battle of the Titans: Kasparov-Karpov New York-Lyons
Published in Paperback by Collier Books (May, 1991)
Average review score:

Look at the authorAs always, Keene's analysis is spotty most of the time, and fine occasionally, but never great and never for beginners. On the other hand, he does provide some interesting anecdotes. Buy this book if you're really interested in the match. But don't pay too much for it!

WarningAlthough not so labeled, this book is essentially a retitled republication of "Keene on Chess," first published in 1999.
I do not intend to comment on the merits of this work, only to warn buyers that they absolutely do not need this book if they already own "Keene on Chess." One star is shown above simply because Amazon's software required me to enter something. #
